Microsoft 365 / Outlook

Outlook email and calendar for job planning

Use shared job messages and calendar information to prepare replies and clear schedule notes.

Check tomorrow’s jobs

Read the configured calendar feed or supplied schedule to list the next visits and missing confirmations. Start with Check tomorrow’s jobs.

Draft a time change

Separate proposed and confirmed times in customer and crew drafts. The dispatcher updates the original Outlook or job-system booking. Start with Draft a time change.

Answer a job email

Use the thread you forward to ask useful scope questions. Inspect newer messages before using the draft. Start with Answer a job email.

What you provide

For calendar reading, provide the approved private calendar link during setup. For email drafting, forward only the needed thread. Broader Microsoft account access needs a separate sign-in and permissions review, and your organization may need to allow sharing. Never text credentials.

Limits to know

The existing calendar feed is read only and may lag behind changes. It is not Outlook mailbox access. Microsoft sharing roles and organization rules determine visibility. CrewBuddy cannot move an event through the feed or send a customer email merely because a calendar was shared.
