Straight answers about what CrewBuddy does, what it does not do and what it costs.
I'm not good with computers. Can I use it?
If you can send a text, you can use it. We set it up with you on your phone. Send a voice note or type a few words, read what comes back and reply with any changes.
Does it answer my phone or text my customers?
No. CrewBuddy cannot answer calls, and it does not text customers from your number. It writes the reply and you send it from your own phone.
What if it gets something wrong?
It can. Read names, prices and dates before you send anything. Text it the fix and it rewrites the draft. If something keeps going wrong, tell us and we look at it with you.
Can I send it photos and voice notes?
Yes. Send a photo of a handwritten estimate, a screenshot of a lead, a product label or a finished job, and CrewBuddy reads it. For long job notes, a voice note or the mic on your keyboard works well.
I already use Jobber or Housecall Pro.
Keep it. With Logins on, CrewBuddy can work inside Jobber or Housecall Pro after we check your account during setup. Screenshots and exports also work, and are how it reads ServiceTitan and QuickBooks. If what you already pay for covers the job, we will tell you.
Will it get me more jobs?
No one can promise more jobs, more leads, a top spot on Google or a number of replies. CrewBuddy does the replies, check-ins, review requests and ad upkeep that slip in a busy week.
How do the Google ads work?
Google Ads is an add-on module, priced before you start. CrewBuddy reads your results, blocks searches that waste money and builds new Search campaigns as paused drafts under the daily limit you set. You turn them on in Google Ads. Ad spend is billed by Google to you and is not part of the plan. See Google Ads.
Do you run Facebook or Instagram ads?
No. We work with Google Search ads only. For other ways to find work, ask about the cold email module, an add-on.
Is cold email included?
No. Cold email is an optional add-on module, not part of any CrewBuddy plan, and we agree on its price before you start. We help you set up a separate sending domain and two or three inboxes, warm them up for two to three weeks and connect them to your Instantly account. You bring your own list; we do not buy or scrape lists. Each email includes your mailing address and a way to opt out. No one can promise inbox placement or replies. See the cold email module.
Can I keep my website?
Yes. With the website module, an add-on, we update the site you have or build a new one, with 4 edits a month, and you see a preview before a change goes live. On WordPress, CrewBuddy can also write page drafts. Your site and accounts stay yours.
Does it work in Spanish?
Yes. You can text it in English or Spanish, and it writes customer messages, estimates and review replies in either one.
What does it cost?
Three plans with a $199 setup, month to month, no contract. Care is $99 a month, Managed $199 and Full Service $349, and AI use and support are included in each. Managed adds 1 hour of human support a month; Full Service adds 2 hours, a larger AI allowance, cybersecurity monitoring and deep access for our team, with a signed waiver. Add-on modules, each priced before you start: website (a new site has a $499 setup), Google Ads (ad spend is paid by you, directly to Google) and cold email. See pricing or compare all plans and pricing.
When can I get support?
Every day, 9 AM to 9 PM Eastern, and we reply within two support hours. Every plan includes support: help when something is not working, answers to your questions, and fixes at no charge for anything we set up that breaks. Managed adds 1 hour of human support a month and Full Service 2 hours, as 15-minute credits, each for one fix, change or question handled by a person. On Care, individual hours are $175 an hour, billed in 15-minute increments ($43.75). Extra time beyond the included hours on Managed or Full Service is $125 an hour ($31.25 per 15 minutes).
Who owns the accounts?
You do. Your domain, website and Google Ads account, and Instantly if you add the cold email module, stay in your name. If you leave, you take them with you.
