What it reads
With a Private Integration token for your location, CrewBuddy reads contacts, opportunities and their stages, conversations and messages, appointments, users and assigned tasks. That answers the questions an owner actually asks: who is waiting on a quote, who replied, what is booked this week.
Ask for a morning list any time. With Schedules on, a separate read-only connection can text it to you at the time you choose, with no ability to change anything.
What it can change
Ask and it adds a note or a task to one exact contact, then reads it back and records it in your activity log. A brand-new contact is added only after a duplicate check and your approval on your private page. Tag changes and stage moves are possible only for the exact tags and stages we check with you first, because agency automations often send texts when those change.
Replies are drafts you send from GoHighLevel. CrewBuddy does not send texts or emails itself, make bulk changes or delete anything.
Setting it up
In your sub-account settings, under Private Integrations, create a token with only the permissions needed. GoHighLevel lets you choose those scopes and change them later. If your agency manages the account, they may need to make the token. It goes on your private page with the location ID, never in a text. Before reading is switched on, we check with you how the account keeps conversation data.
Good questions to ask
Who came in from the ads yesterday? Who replied to the last text the agency sent? Which estimates are older than a week? Add a task to call the Harlows back Friday. Each answer names the contact and the stage, so you can open the record if you want the whole thread.
New leads first
Leads from your ads and forms usually land in GoHighLevel. Ask for the morning list and CrewBuddy shows the new ones first, with what they asked for, and drafts a first reply for each that you send from GoHighLevel. A quick, specific first reply is the part that matters most.
Disconnecting
To cut the connection, delete the private token in GoHighLevel and it stops working. Notes and tasks CrewBuddy saved stay on the contacts, each one marked in your activity log.
If the agency also runs automations in GoHighLevel, CrewBuddy does not replace them. It reads what they produced and helps you answer.
