Reviews and repeat work

Check in with last season’s customers

Send last year’s jobs for one service. CrewBuddy builds a short plan, reminds you when to send, and drafts a personal text for each customer.

What you send: An export or photo of last season’s jobs for one service, with names, dates and phone numbers or emails visible.
What you send
What you get: A list of customers to contact, grouped into small batches with send dates, a reminder to you for each batch, and a draft for each person.
What you get

Fictional example.

Text it like this

Fictional example.

You: Here are last fall’s furnace tune-ups from Housecall Pro. Plan this year’s reminders.
CrewBuddy: I found 38 tune-ups from last fall, and 35 have a phone number. Plan: 12 on Sept 22, 12 on Sept 29, 11 on Oct 6, with a reminder to you at 8 am each day. Draft: Hi [name], it is [your name] from [company]. We did your furnace tune-up last October. Want me to save you a spot before it gets cold? Check: 3 customers have no phone number.

Small batches, real dates

Sending a few each day keeps the replies to a number you can answer and schedule. CrewBuddy splits the list into batches and sets a reminder that texts only you on each send day. When it arrives, ask for that batch of drafts, read them, and send them from your phone.

Each draft mentions what you did for that customer and when, because it comes from your own job list. It does not invent a discount, a deadline or a price. If you want to mention an offer, tell CrewBuddy the real terms.

Texts and emails

For customers who prefer email, CrewBuddy writes an email version. The FTC’s CAN-SPAM guide explains when an email counts as commercial. A reminder that offers a service usually does, so include your postal address and a clear way to opt out.

Fictional example of an email version: Subject: “Fall furnace check, [company]” Body: “Hi [name], we did your tune-up last October and are booking fall visits now. Reply with a day that works for you. Reply STOP and we will not email you about this again. [Company], [postal address].”

Keep a note of who booked and who asked not to be contacted. Next season, CrewBuddy starts from that note, and nobody who said stop hears from you again.

The seasonal reminders guide covers which services fit and how to word the message. If your job software already sends maintenance reminders, tell CrewBuddy, so customers do not get two messages about the same visit.
