Google Drive
Google Drive job folders
Keep photos, scope notes and customer handoff files organized around one job number.
Keep change context together
Use the original scope and labeled images to draft a reviewable change note. Keep the customer decision with the exact version. Start with Keep change context together.
Prepare a photo index
Pair views from the files you share and write factual captions. Keep private handoff permission separate from public promotion. Start with Prepare a photo index.
Build a customer set
List finished work, care files and open items while leaving internal costs and access details outside the shared customer folder. Start with Build a customer set.
What you provide
Send selected files or share a job folder through the route reviewed at setup. Connected access requires Google sign-in and agreed file permissions privately. Give the job folder, not your entire Drive. Decide whether the task needs reading or also file changes.
Limits to know
Drive sharing follows its actual permissions, including inherited access. A file summary does not change sharing settings or create a customer album automatically. Test recipient access. For W-9 collection use the bookkeeper’s approved restricted process, separate from general job photos.
