Dropbox
Dropbox for job photos and handoffs
Find the right photo set and prepare a customer-ready index from the files you allow.
Pair the photo views
Organize labeled before and after files without inventing a match. Flag faces, reflections and addresses before sharing. Start with Pair the photo views.
Prepare inspection context
Index ground-level images and reported issues for the roofer. The folder does not establish roof condition or repair scope. Start with Prepare inspection context.
Share the reviewed set
Prepare the handoff index while excluding unrelated jobs and internal notes. Test the customer’s actual folder permissions. Start with Share the reviewed set.
What you provide
Share selected files, or authorize the Dropbox connection during private setup with your own sign-in. Specify the job folder and whether reading or file management is allowed. Dropbox documents an official assistant connection; availability still needs account and permission checks.
Limits to know
Viewer access can still allow downloads and sharing. Parent-folder access matters. A summary cannot silently restrict an existing link, and a file moved into an album may still expose private details. Check the final share, not just the folder name.
