Ads in the slow season
Pause the ads when the calendar is full
When you are booked for weeks, paying for more calls makes little sense. Text CrewBuddy what to pause and it does it in your Google Ads account.

How pausing works
CrewBuddy reads the item first, with the account’s current budgets, and then pauses only that one campaign, ad group, ad or keyword. If anything changed between the check and the pause, it stops and checks again. Pausing does not delete anything or change a budget. A paused campaign stops spending until it is turned back on.
To turn it back on, open the Google Ads app or website and switch the status to enabled. CrewBuddy can remind you on a date you choose to decide whether you have room again.
Pause a piece, not always the whole thing
Sometimes only one service is full. If your crew is booked for decks but has room for fences, pause the deck ad group and leave the rest running. CrewBuddy lists what is still on after every pause, so you know what is spending.
If you want fewer calls rather than none, the budget is the lever, and budgets are changed in Google Ads. CrewBuddy does not raise or lower budgets. Pausing one ad group is the closest thing it can do for you.
Local Services Ads are separate. If you run them, pause them in your Local Services account. CrewBuddy does not connect to that account.
When the calendar opens up again, switch campaigns back on in Google Ads, then run the weekly ads check after a few days to see that they are spending as you expect.

What you send
Which campaign, ad group, ad or keyword to pause, and why, so the note in your records makes sense later.
What CrewBuddy prepares
A check of the item and its budget, the pause itself, and a short confirmation of what is now paused.
What to keep in mind
CrewBuddy can pause but not turn things back on. You switch them on again in Google Ads when you have room.
