Logins
Let it work inside the apps you already pay for
Jobber, Housecall Pro and the lead sites have no direct connection with CrewBuddy. With the Logins add-on, it uses its own private browser and a login you save to work in them.
Text it like this
Fictional example.
How Logins works
You sign a short waiver and choose the sites CrewBuddy may open. Each site’s login goes in Settings on your private page, not in a text. CrewBuddy opens one site at a time in its own browser, with a separate profile for each site, and asks you for a sign-in code when a site sends one.
Sites we see most: Jobber, Housecall Pro, Thumbtack, Angi and supply house accounts. We check each site, plan and user role with you during setup, because what a login can see depends on its role.
What it does there
It reads what the login can see, such as open quotes, today’s schedule, new lead requests or account prices, and prepares the work you asked for: a follow-up list, reply drafts, a quote entered for you to check. Steps that send, submit, post, pay, book or delete wait for a one-time code you text back for that step. On Thumbtack, a reply sent inside Thumbtack keeps the conversation where the platform expects it.
What stays off limits
Bank, payment, payroll and email sites are blocked by name. QuickBooks, Square and Stripe are treated as payment sites, so CrewBuddy works from their exports. Logins and Schedules cannot be on at the same time, so if you want the Monday weather check or other scheduled texts, choose which matters more for you.
Good first jobs
Jobber: quotes still waiting on an answer and the follow-ups due today. Housecall Pro: tomorrow’s schedule with any job missing an address or a time. Thumbtack and Angi: new lead requests since this morning, with a reply draft for each. Supply house account: your price on the items on this week’s list.
Start with jobs that read and prepare. Once you have seen how it works in your apps, ask for the steps that change something, and each of those still waits for your code.
Giving it the right access
Most of these apps let you add a user with limited permissions. Give CrewBuddy its own user with only what the job needs, such as quotes and schedule but not payments or payroll, so its login can see what it should and nothing else.
No Logins? Exports and screenshots still work for all of these. An export of open quotes gets you the same follow-up list.

Start with one site
With Logins on, CrewBuddy signs in to the job and lead sites you allow, using a login you save, and does the reading and preparing there.
- Make a login for CrewBuddy in the app, with only the access it needs.
- Save it in Settings on your private page.
- Ask for one job, like the open quotes list.
